Paisley's Real/Virtual Interview with Phillp Rosedale and Mark Kingdon Friday at SLCC Live to air

Some people have asked me why I haven’t had either one of these two people on my show, the two most well known and fascinating people in Second Life. The CEO M Linden and the Founder and Chairman of the Board Phillip Linden. Well I’ve never had them on my show, because I have never approached either for an interview, because I did not want to re-do what others have done before me. The timing had to be right and I wanted to take an entirely different approach from what has gone before.

Tonight Live is styled in a very relaxed “everyman/woman” feel, which……is really just based on my taste with my viewing and who I am as a person. No great plan there.

However I am known for pushing our technology as far as we can take it in Virtual Television, much to the horror sometimes of my staff and Treet.tv at times I do like a challenge, So the interview is planned exactly as I would want it. Executive Treet.tv Producer Starr Sonic Music Producer, Delinda Dyrssen and myself (the 3 perfumed steamrollers!) will be in the flesh at Linden Labs this Friday at 2pm, in line with the Second Life Community Convention, with Phillip Linden and M Linden, where I will be chatting with them both live on real life camera at the exact time all our avatars will be filmed by Treet.tv in Second Life at the Tonight Live studio in front of a virtual audience. Due to the technicalities we won’t be able to edit the RL video stream into the program till after the live interview. But it will be done in such a way as you will see us all chatting together in real life in an insert window of the television screen and visa versa.

It may be the first time an interview of this nature has been done…but Im not 100% sure of that. I wanted to do it, just because I think its going to be incredibly viewable and it will illustrate beautifully what we are trying to do here in SL, and its also just wonderfull for me to interview people in the flesh, no time delay, body language ect… and bring it to the people who will be most interested in it.

Im going to bringing to you a side of Phillip and M I don’t think will have been seen before. Phillip and M have done a lot of interviews in real life and virtually. The main thing is its going to be a lot of fun! Don’t expect me to go into the controversial economic Side of SL, its been done over and over by better educated people than I, (yes you Byers!) It will be very much an interview as you will expect from me.

Im very exited to be going into Linden Labs and having a sticky

beak around…and meeting these 2 very interesting people.

If you do want to come to the studio to see it live in world, we will start at 2pm and it should go for half an hour, we will have the sim capped, but probably allow 70.

Ive been here for 3 days now in San Francisco, Its difficult for me to stick to any kind of routine as its just so exiting to be here and see San Francisco, and meet lots of wonderfull Avi’s in the flesh! Americans are so friendly and welcoming particularly when they hear my Aussie Accent, Im so clueless at so many things here..and they are very patient with me.
