I just got back from a little trip so I have stayed packed. Who else is already packing for San Francisco?

I never pack until the last minute and then I just fling stuff in the general direction of the suitcase and take whatever lands inside. ;)

I have to pack and unpack a couple of times a month with my job. I have it down to about an hour.

I've been packing (mentally) for a month! I have set aside certain clothes - for myself, Jay and 2 kids. I have had to clean and organize my house (more so than usual) for the cat sitter/house sitter, organizing a schedule for the kids visiting their 2 aunts, slowly emptying the fridge and pantry, paying bills that cannot be overlooked while we're gone, stopping the mail and newspaper, throwing out old clutter and steam cleaning the carpets. I pre-planned the parking at the airport, transit from airport to hotel and around the city. I figured out how much we $ need each day and lost sleep over how we're going to pull this all off. Last night, Jay cleaned the wardrobe bags, last used on our honeymoon 10 years ago - and eyed-up the heavy duty duffle bag. He leaves Wednesday. This time next week, I will be filling ziploc bags with toiletries and stuffing everything efficiently into the duffle - remembering the goal is to pack lightly!

(sigh)

(We owe our kids a family vacation - they feel left out of all this, so I will be doing this all again as soon as I can figure out how.)

Packing? You mean this is not a clothing optional GIG? We will be in S.F. and I know that sim err. city is marked MATURE!
