	The most intelligent, just like in hypnosis, can fall fully into immersion. Sometimes feeling the few moments with an avatar are better than current real life. How does one cope with this tsunami of emotion? Why does this symptom of falling in love online invalidate this as a learning or commercial medium?

Comment by Meghan Moran on August 11, 2009 at 12:17pm: Great topic - looking forward to the presentation on Sunday. :) I will be doing a presentation on Thursday afternoon at 2:00 PM that those who are interested in this subject might enjoy - the official topic is "Performance Inquiry in Second Life", but it will basically be a showcase of my ongoing thesis work about identity, intimacy, and commitment in SL, with four short performance pieces, three of which directly deal with SL sexuality.
